Provided is a safety needle assembly, comprising: a hub, further comprising a proximate end which is connected to a syringe, and a distal end; a cannula with a thickness of 18-24 gauge, and a length from the hub to the distal end of 8-22 mm; and a sheath which contains the cannula. To cause the cannula to be housed within an aperture part of the sheath, the sheath further comprises a protuberance-shaped stopper for regulating movement of a user's finger in the distal end direction when pressing on the sheath. The sheath further comprises: a rib which guides the cannula which has entered within the aperture part; and a guide rib, further comprising a locking protrusion which, after the cannula is passed through, anchors the cannula at an angle of 0° or more with regard to the housing direction of the cannula. |
