In order to prevent a constraining member from being fractured or broken, the power source device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a battery module (100) shaped as a rectangular parallelepiped containing: a battery stack comprising a plurality of battery cells stacked in one direction; a pair of end plates (20) respectively disposed on a first end face and a second end face located at two ends of the battery stack; and a constraining member (30) coupled to the pair of end plates (20). The power source device further comprises a frame (200) having a fastening surface, and fastening members (300) for fastening the battery module (100) in such a state that one surface of the battery module (100) that is adjacent to the first end face and the second end face faces the fastening surface (200a) of the frame (200). The constraining member (30) is formed in such a manner that, the farther away from the fastening surface (200a), the stronger the hardness becomes against an external force acting in the stacking direction, in which the plurality of battery cells are stacked. |
