PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can perform an opening/closing operation of a cover member with opening/closing means in response to a request from a user.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes: image forming means 20; an ejected sheet storage part 60 that is provided in a space inside the apparatus with respect to an opening in at least one side of the apparatus body, and has a sheet material loading member 67; a cover member 61 that openably/closably covers the opening for the ejected sheet storage part; and opening/closing means for opening/closing the cover member. The image forming apparatus 100 further includes: operation receiving means 63 for receiving a predetermined operation from a user; and control means 500 for controlling the opening/closing means, when the operation receiving means receives the predetermined operation, to open/close the cover member to be a second state where the cover member is open from a first state where the cover member is closed or to be the first state from the second state. |
