PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-gap rotary electric machine having a structure that can be prevented from being complicated for cooling, by improving cooling performance for cooling a coil end part of a stator coil.SOLUTION: A multi-gap rotary electric machine 10 comprises: a stator coil L including a first coil end part 18, second coil end part 12, and third coil end part 38 together with a slot accommodation part; a case C including one or more case inlet holes 32 through which a coolant 54 is injected and one or more case outlet holes 26 through which the coolant 54 is discharged; and a rotor support member 16 including one or more first communication holes 14 for making a first space SP1 (inner circumferential side space of a rotor 40) communicate with a third space SP3 (outer circumferential side space of the rotor 40) so as to include a radial direction Ry component. A first communication hole 14 is provided in a range (coil end presence range E1, coil end presence range E2) in which one or both of the first coil end part 18 and the second coil end part 12 are present. |
