A pharmaceutical composition comprising antibodies that specifically bind folate receptor-alpha (FR-a), said antibodies comprising a heavy chain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 4 and a light chain comprising an amino acid sequence comprising residues 20 to 236 of SEQ ID NO: 26, wherein said composition is free of a polypeptide consisting of amino acids 20 to 111 of SEQ ID NO: 24.
