PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new lithium air secondary battery capable of exhibiting cycle characteristics, energy efficiency or the like which are more superior than before.SOLUTION: A lithium air secondary battery includes an air electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte in contact with the air electrode and the negative electrode. The air electrode contains a conductive material and a catalyst. The catalyst of the air electrode contains metal nitride. The metal nitride is preferable to be nitride containing metal selected from Co, Ni, Mo, W, Mn, or Fe. |
