The present invention relates to a navigation device and a method to display driving guidance information thereof. The present invention is to improve visibility by simply displaying various guidance information with a wide map screen, and enabling main information to guide driving to conveniently be recognized since a multistage screen mode of receiving various preferences of a user is conveniently changed through a touch drag. The method to display driving guidance information thereof comprises: a first step of checking whether a destination of a vehicle is set, extracting a searching route to the destination when the destination of the vehicle is set, and activating a sequence display guide mode; a second step of extracting a limit speed guidance point and a direction guidance point located in a driving direction from the location of the vehicle detected by a GPS receiving unit, and generating the driving guidance information when the sequence display guide mode is activated; a third step of converting the driving guidance information arranged in order in the driving direction of the vehicle into an output image of a list form with an output item corresponding to a preset screen mode; and a fourth step of outputting the output image on a driving guidance screen on a display screen divided into a map route screen and the driving guidance screen in accordance with the screen mode.
