A communication device includes: a first communication unit which maintains a first communication parameter and shares the maintained first communication parameter with an external device; and a second communication unit which uses the first communication parameter shared with the external device by the first communication unit to communicate with the external device; and a control unit which controls the second communication unit to start a communication operation as the first communication unit shares the first communication parameter, and sets the first communication parameter shared with the external device not to be shared through the first communication unit when the second communication unit executes the communication operation according to the sharing of the first communication parameter by the first communication unit. |
