PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a towel product that keeps a characteristic of honeycomb weave of a prior art and that can improve water absorption, light-weight, and a feel compared with the prior art.SOLUTION: The basic structure is the same as a general honeycomb weave structure. The first characteristic is the use of a hollow yarn with a hollow rate of 30-60%. In the honeycomb weave structure, for the purpose of shrinking the warp and the weft, the mutual restraint is loose. Consequently, even with the use of the hollow yarn with the hollow rate of 30-60%, the hollowness is free from extreme collapse; in other words, the shape of the hollow yarn can be maintained. Because of this structure, improvement is seen in water absorption, light-weight, a feel and dryness, while durability slightly deteriorates due to the first characteristic. The second characteristic is the use of a hollow yarn which is composed of twisted cotton having an effective fiber length of 25-42 mm, resulting in maintenance of durability. |
