Furthermore, disclosed is a method of producing a high energy density electrode material in which, in the manufacturing of an electrode of a power storage device, when rolling treatment is applied to an active material layer containing an active material particle formed on a current collector and the conductive carbon, the conductive carbon spreads like paste to be densified, active material particles approach to each other, the conductive carbon is stressed out into a gap part formed between the active material particles adjacent to each other and filled therein, and, as a result, the amount of active materials per unit volume in the electrode obtained after rolling treatment is increased and electrode density increases.
