The present invention relates to a negative electrode active material for a lithium ion secondary battery, and to a producing method thereof and, more specifically, to a negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, which forms a composite of nano-silicon dioxide and carbon by mixing nano-silicon dioxide with peach or a polymer and heat-treating at 500 to 1500°C. The negative electrode active material has high capacity and excellent life characteristics by having reactivity through reacting the nano-silicon dioxide with the peach and the polymer in the composite. |
