Disclosed are a network apparatus based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) by using compressed sensing, and a method for compressing and recovering data thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for compressing and recovering data comprises the following steps: compressing an original digital signal by using compressed sensing; modulating the compressed signal to transmit the same; receiving the modulated compressed signal to demodulate the same; and decompressing the demodulated compressed signal by using the compressed sensing to recover the original digital signal.
