A disclosed method for manufacturing a rosin-modified phenolic resin comprises the following steps: forming rosin ester by reacting rosin and multivalent alcohol; providing a phenol compound and an aldehyde compound to rosin ester; performing a primary reaction at 120-150°C; and performing a secondary reaction at 230-270°C after the primary reaction.
