摘要 The present invention relates to a traffic management apparatus included in an optical traffic network (OTN) line card, which accommodates OTN traffic to transmit the same to a multi-layer integrated switch, or accommodates traffic by cell unit from the multi-layer integrated switch to generate the OTN traffic, and then transmits the same to a network interface. The traffic management apparatus comprises: a network interface unit for generating an interlaken packet as an OTN frame to transceive the same; a fabric interface unit for transceiving cell data with the multi-layer integrated fabric switch; an ingress traffic manager for adding an FTMH overheader, in which information on an optical data unit (ODU) payload size is included, to an OTN frame outputted from the network interface so as to transmit the same to the fabric interface unit; and an egress traffic manager for considering the ODU payload size which is recorded in the FTMH overheader of the cell data outputted from the fabric interface unit to control the speed of queuing and dequeuing.
