<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail tensioner and a stopper therefor, capable of stably and continuously applying a predetermined tensioning force on a joint part of rails when welding the joint part of the rails and securely and swiftly welding the joint part of the rails.SOLUTION: A stopper for a rail tensioner includes: a rod-side bracket 21 provided between a tip end part of a piston rod of a tension cylinder 3 and a base end part of a connection rod 4, and having side protrusion parts protruding out toward the sides from the outer peripheral surface of the tension cylinder 3; a cylinder-side bracket 22 provided closer to the tension cylinder 3 side than the rod-side bracket 21, and having side protrusion parts protruding out toward the sides from the outer peripheral surface of the tension cylinder 3; and fastening members (tensioning bolts 23 and double nuts 24) that connect the side protrusion parts of the rod-side bracket 21 and the side protrusion parts of the cylinder-side bracket 22 so as to prevent rails R abutted with a predetermined tensioning force to each other from separating from each other at a joint part.</p> |
