<p>The ironing machine (1) has a roller (3) which is rotatably mounted in a hollow area (4) to form a cup-shaped smoothing space for textiles. The hollow area is provided with a heating device acting on a hollow surface. A channel or multiple channels are arranged at the rear side of the hollow outer surface, through which a hot gas containing heating medium flows.
