<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of restriction of a usable pearl oyster depending on a district since the pearl oyster is cultured in the sea to restrict the kind of producible pearl depending on the district, restriction of the kind of artificially producible pearl, and absence of an artificial pearl production method to use shells difficult to perform nucleus insertion such as a part of bivalves and snails. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the pearl oyster enabling insertion of nucleus piece obtained from different kind of shells and the pearl production method to use the pearl oyster.
