The present invention provides a fluorescent lamp for cultivating a plant, which includes a near ultraviolet ray region and a wavelength of about 400-440 nm. To this end, the present invention provides a fluorescent lamp for cultivating a plant, which comprises: a glass tube; a pair of electrodes existing in each of both ends of the glass tube; an anthracene nano-crystal layer existing in the glass tube; and a discharge gas existing in the glass tube. The anthracene nano-crystal layer is secondarily excitated in accordance with first excitation of the discharge gas, so light including a near-ultraviolet ray (UV-A) region and a wavelength region of about 400-440 nm may be emitted. The fluorescent lamp for cultivating a plant according to the present invention may promote coloring of an edible pigment and maximize photosynthesis and chlorophyll reaction, so high growth is possible and an environmentally-friendly plant may be systematically produced. |
