The present invention relates to a light shielding material, a light shielding structure and a fabricating method thereof. The light shielding structure comprises a transparent substrate and a thin film. The thin film is coated on the transparent substrate and comprises a plurality of carbon-doped tungsten oxides expressed by the following chemical formula (I): M_xWC_yO_z. In the above formula, M is a dopant having one or more chemical elements; W is tungsten; C is carbon; O is oxygen; and x, y, and z satisfy 0<x<=1, 0<y<=1, and 0<z<=3. |
