The present invention relates to a multi-access device using biometric verification and a control method thereof. The present invention receives a fingerprint of a user when a cap is opened to determine whether the user is a valid user, and determines whether a switch unit selection is made. If a switch unit selection is not made, a certain key value is generated by an algorithm of a one time password (OTP) unit to display the key value on an LCD unit. If a switch unit selection is made, a frequency signal corresponding to the switch unit selection is generated. Accordingly, the present invention preferentially performs biometric verification to reduce a risk when lost, simply opens and closes a car door or a front door, has a data protection function which is a weak point of a USB memory, and maintains high security when a one time password is used. |
