<p>The present invention relates to a particular process for separating a mixture of two linear cyano acids resulting from the oxidative cleavage of an unsaturated fatty acid nitrile, said mixture having a eutectic with a specific composition. Said process comprises steps of separation by crystallization in several successive steps in molten medium of the starting mixture, and, in order to circumvent the eutectic during this crystallization, a step is carried out in which the constituents of the eutectic are separated by distillation under reduced pressure and/or by selective extraction with specific solvent or by column chromatography and with the possibility of recycling the resulting fractions to the series of successive crystallizations, thus making it possible to obtain the separation of two constituents with a purity of at least 95 mol%.</p> |
