PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for continuously manufacturing a glass body in which steps for attaching a base material glass body are decreased, the bending of the glass body is reduced by rotating the glass body and a plurality of product glass bodies are continuously manufactured from one piece of the base material glass body. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for manufacturing the glass body, the glass body can continuously be stretched while the product glass body formed by stretching the base material glass body is properly changed to be held by 2 product glass body rotary chucks.
