The present invention relates to a silver-coated copper nano-wire and a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, piperazine (C_4H_10N_2) and hexamethylenediamine (C_6H_16N_2) which are novel copper capping agents are used to chemically synthesize a copper nano-wire, and then a chemical plating method is used to coat the copper nano-wire with silver to prevent oxidation of the copper nano-wire. The silver-coated copper nano-wire in accordance with the present invention is prevented from oxidizing in air or at a high temperature. Therefore, electric conductivity is not degraded, and thus the silver-coated copper nano-wire is useful in manufacturing electromagnetic wave shielding paste requiring high electric conductivity or high conductivity paste. |
