PURPOSE:To stabilize triboelectrification amt. and to render its distribution sharp and uniform by incorporating a hexaammine cobalt (III) salt in an electrophotographic toner for developing an electrostatic charge image. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic toner for developing an electrostatic charge image contains the hexaammine Co (III) salt prepared by introducing air into in the aq. soln. of ammonia contg. the mixture of a Co (III) salt and an ammonium salt in the presence of activated carbon as a catalyst and oxidizing the mixture to produce a compd. having an average particle diameter of 0.1-5mum serviceable as a toner controller. When it is added into the inside of the toner, it is used in the amt.s of 0.1-20pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of a binder resin, and when it is added onto the outside of the toner, it is used in the amt. of 0.01-10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of it, thus permitting triboelectrification amt. to be stabilized and its distribution to be made sharp and uniform. |
