A drill bit 12 for anchoring a tensile load to a substrate 100, comprising a shaft 10 with a first cutting tip 12 attached in the form of a drill bit, a mandrel 14 on said shaft with a flareable sleeve 26 able to override the mandrel 14 comprising, forcing the flared sleeve 26 to push shields 24/28 outward, upon which shields the second cutting tips 20 & 22 are mounted, which are separately driveable to the first cutting tip, and an anchor 1, which anchors the assembly in place by expanding into the undercut made, thus preventing removal. |
