An induction heating type of fryer is disclosed. An induction heating type of fryer according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a case; an oil storage tank formed to have an open upper part within the case, the oil storage tank including a cooking area, in which frying oil is received and an object to be fried is fried, and a burning prevention area formed under the cooking area, in which frying oil having a temperature lower than that of the cooking area is located; an induction heating unit including an induction heating coil arranged to wrap at least a part of the oil storage tank at the outside of the oil storage tank to heat the frying oil by an induction heating scheme; and a control unit for controlling a temperature of the induction heating coil. |
