This method comprises: a step of applying an adhesive to an elastic member that extends in a transport direction; a step of inserting the elastic member between two continuous non-woven fabrics having a pair of side edge sections that extend in the transport direction, and generating a continuous body by adhering via the adhesive, which has been applied to the elastic member, at a portion of a middle section which is between the pair of side edge sections such that the two continuous non-woven fabrics overlap with each other; and a step of heat-welding the two continuous non-woven fabrics together at the pair of side edge sections of the continuous body, said side edge sections being closer to the edge than the middle section which has been adhered using the adhesive. |
