This nursing bed (1) is provided with: stationary members (13A) which form stationary bed surfaces of bed parts (3) on which a person under care (P) lies; moveable members (13B) which are moveable with respect to the stationary members (13A), and which form moving bed surfaces of bed parts (3); and a moveable member drive means (5) for driving the moveable members (13B). The stationary members (13A) have a plurality of elongated sections that respectively extend in the lateral direction or the longitudinal direction. The moveable members (13B) have moving elements (13B) that can be caused to protrude upward in relation to the stationary bed surfaces through gaps present between the plurality of elongated sections, and to operate in the lateral direction and/or the longitudinal direction, by the moveable member drive means (5). The body position of the person under care lying on the bed can be changed effortlessly to an optimal posture. |
