Device for assembling two elements 3, 4 at least one of which comprises a flat fastening part 11 pierced with two holes. The device comprises a length of U-shaped section 6 a first flange 8 of which is equipped with two studs 12 projecting towards the second flange 7. The device further comprises a key 15 engaged in a retained manner in a slit 14 in the web 13 of the length of section 6, in order to lock the part 11 of the element 13, engaged over the studs 12, against the flange 8.
