The present invention relates to a hollow packaging for a cable type secondary battery and a cable type secondary battery including the same. A packaging sheet includes: a sheet type metal film layer on which a corrugation pattern is formed; a first polymer resin layer formed on a surface of the metal film layer; and a mechanical support layer formed on the other surface of the metal film layer. The hollow packaging has a hollow part by curving the first polymer resin layer towards the inside. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the included metal film layer prevents the degradation of battery performance by preventing electrolyte in the secondary battery from being polluted, and maintains the mechanical strength of the secondary battery. The metal film layer with the corrugation pattern avoids damage to the packaging when the secondary battery is bent, and improves the mechanical flexibility of the secondary battery.
