The present invention relates to a towing hook (11) for a vehicle (1). The towing hook (11) comprises a ball portion (20) comprising at least one cam track (21) adapted to cooperate with a displacement device enabling the towing hook (11) to be displaced between a towing position and a retracted position. The cam track (21) is at least partly formed by recesses (25, 25', 25") having a radius curvature. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a ball portion for a towing hook. The towing hook is simple to manufacture and thus very cost efficient. |
