Provided is a rubber composition for a tire sidewall, said composition exhibiting excellent ozone-resistance and improving the appearance of a tire beyond the levels of the prior art. The rubber composition for a tire sidewall is characterized by mixing 0.5-10 parts by weight of a paraffin wax, 0.5-10 parts by weight of an amine-based anti-aging agent and 0.2-5 parts by weight of a polyalkylene glycol carbonic acid alkyl ester represented by formula (I) into 100 parts by weight of a diene-based rubber including at least 20-80 wt% of a natural rubber and 20-80 wt% of a butadiene rubber (in the formula, R1 represents a hydrocarbon group having 5-21 carbon atoms, R2 represents an ethylene group and/or a propylene group, R3 represents a methyl group or an ethyl group, and n is an integer of 1-8).
