Method for establishing a data connection between endpoints in a VoIP arrangement

The useful data link (RTP/RTCP) is set-up between calling end point (HFAA) and called end point (HFAB) in VOIP installation and at least one transmission stage (Node 1,2). Between each end point and nodes are set-up signalling links for information exchange. The setting-up uses two protocols (COrNET-TS/TC) H.225, tunnelled H.245) at least the second signalling link is initiated by calling end point. The transmitted information from end points via first link, and in parallel via the second signalling link, are combined.
