The present invention relates to a preparation method for lithium iron phosphate, comprising the steps of: mixing a lithium phosphate/organic solvent suspension with a ferrous phosphate/organic solvent suspension at the molar ratio that Li3PO4:Fe3(PO4)2 = 1:1 to 1.05:1, adding an acid to adjust a pH value of the solution to make the solution acidic, to obtain a mixed suspension in homogeneous dispersion by ultrasonic dispersion; reacting the mixed suspension in a solvent thermal reaction kettle to obtain a lithium iron phosphate suspension; solid-liquid separating the lithium iron phosphate suspension and washing same, so as to obtain a moist material; drying the moist material in a vacuum drying oven, so as to obtain a dry material; and placing the dry material in a tube furnace, conducting high-temperature thermal treatment under the protection of a protective gas, to obtain a lithium iron phosphate anode material after cooling.
