The present invention relates to a heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) system. The HVAC system comprises: a plurality of pump rooms having one or more pumps to circulate refrigerants; a plurality of refrigerant heat exchangers connected to the each pump room to exchange heat between the refrigerants discharged by the pumps; a management system to monitor conditions of the pump rooms; and a control panel to monitor conditions of the refrigerant heat exchangers. The management system and the control panel communicate with each other. The management system transmits condition information of the pump rooms to the control panel, receives condition information of the refrigerant heat exchangers from the control panel, and controls operation of the pump rooms according to the condition information of the refrigerant heat exchangers. The control panel transmits the condition information of the refrigerant heat exchangers to the management system, receives the condition information of the pump rooms from the management system, and controls operation of the refrigerant heat exchangers according to the condition information of the pump rooms. The HVAC system in accordance with the present invention comprises a first pump room and a second pump room to use a pump of the second pump room as an auxiliary pump when a pump of the first pump room breaks down, thereby preventing a work delay. Also, the management system which ascertains operational conditions of the first and the second pump rooms is connected to the control panel which checks operational conditions of the refrigerant heat exchangers to efficiently control whether to operate the pump rooms when the refrigerant heat exchangers fail to reduce energy consumption. |
