The embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of electronics, and particularly to a display device and a sharing control method therefor, which are used for achieving the control information sharing between a display device and an external device or achieving the control information sharing between the external devices through the display device. In the embodiments of the present application, the method comprises: receiving, by a display device, first data which is packaged by a first external device on an application layer, is matched with a data protocol of a first dedicated link and contains a control instruction through the first dedicated link; if the control instruction is a control instruction for the display device, executing, by the display device, a corresponding operation according to the control instruction; and if the control instruction is a control instruction for a second external device, sending, by the display device, the first data to the second external device through a second dedicated link, so that the second external device executes a corresponding operation according to the control instruction. Therefore, the control instruction for the display device or other external devices can be input to a certain external device directly, thereby achieving the control of a corresponding device and improving the control convenience. |
