<p>The fitting e.g. backflow preventer (10), has a sealing ring (18) with an inner sealing contour, which provides a sealing function between the ring and a closure body (15) in a position of the body during positive pressure difference between inlet-sided pressure and outlet-sided pressure with respect to the ring. The ring comprises another inner sealing contour, which lies at an outer contour (19) in the position of the body. The latter contour provides a sealing function between the ring and the body during negative pressure difference between the inlet-sided and outlet-sided pressures.</p> |
