TOUCH KEY PACKAGE OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE

The present invention provides a touch key package installed in an electronic device to sense a touch by a user. The touch key package according to the present invention comprises: a base member having an external connection terminal; a touch controller chip mounted on the upper surface of the base member; an upper plate positioned at the upper part of the touch controller chip; a middle member installed between the base member and the upper plate to support the upper plate and providing a conduction path electrically connecting the base member to the upper plate; and a sensing unit formed on the upper surface of the upper plate. The touch key package according to the present invention has much smaller size than a conventional touch key assembly to enhance usability for a small sized electronic device and to improve design flexibility of the electronic device. The present invention may be directly mounted on a main board of the electronic device to largely reduce an installation space, to save manufacturing costs and to enhance productivity as compared with the case of connecting the conventional touch key assembly to an FPCB or the like.
