HYBRID REGENERATION APPARATUS AND METHOD OF LIQUID DESICCANT FOR GAS DEHYDRATION PROCESS

The present invention provides a hybrid reproducing method of a liquid desiccant by improving the reproducing method included in a dehydration process of gas using liquid desiccant especially glycol-based compound. The improved reproducing method of a liquid desiccant of the present invention may increase energy efficiency by increasing reproducing purity of the liquid desiccant to 99. 99 wt % at low temperature; minimize a loss of the liquid desiccant by reproducing at low temperature; prevent a generation of an organic acid which is an end-products of thermal decomposition. The hybrid reproducing method of the liquid desiccant of the present invention comprises: a pervaporation device (200) separating water and a first reproduced liquid desiccant from the liquid desiccant which includes water; a stripping column (300) discharging a second reproduced liquid desiccant by stripping the moisture from the first reproduced liquid desiccant by using stripping gas. The hybrid reproducing method of the liquid desiccant of the present invention has an advantage of having a simple process compare to an existing azeotropic distillation process or a re-boiler reproducing process; integrating a dehydration device and a reproducing device of the liquid desiccant; and reducing the loss of the liquid desiccant by preventing the thermal decomposition of the liquid desiccant.
