FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: compressed air, or fuel mix, or combustion chamber products of one of ICE cylinders are forced into the compressor drive piston chamber for piston actuation and gas feed into pneumatic accumulator by said piston along with compressor piston. Gas is forced from said pneumatic accumulator to the drive piston of the timing valve to be closed or opened. Used gas from the valve drive piston opposite chamber is fed into compensating pneumatic accumulator. Therefrom, it is forced into opposite chamber of compressor piston to provide the gas for the next cycle of pneumatic accumulator charging.EFFECT: higher efficiency of engine operation.1 dwg
