PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide suitable active pharmaceutical ingredients for pharmaceutical compositions useful in treatment of a disease characterized by overexpression of one or more anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 family proteins, for example cancer.SOLUTION: A solid crystalline form of ABT-263 is expressed by the following formula, wherein the crystalline form is a solvate comprising ABT-263 free base solvated with an organic solvent. The solvate is selected from the solvates of ethanol/ethyl acetate mixture, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, methanol, benzene, toluene, dioxane/hexanes mixture, methyl acetate/hexanes mixture, chloroform, ethyl acetate, isopropyl acetate, methyl acetate, pyridine, anisole and trifluorotoluene solvates. |
