<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor enabling restriction of a movable range of a rotor to the side of a bearing and adjustment of a dimension of a clearance in the motor axial direction between the rotor and the bearing even when a washer is not mounted to a position opposing to the bearing in a rotating shaft, and a method of manufacturing the motor. <P>SOLUTION: A motor 1 includes a cylindrical portion 80 located around a rotating shaft 51 and opposing to a radial bearing 91 in the motor axial direction L, and the cylindrical portion 80 includes a flange portion 83 expanding in the radial outer side at an end 82 on the side of the radial bearing 91. Thus without mounting a washer to the rotating shaft 51, a movable range of a rotor 5 to the side of the radial bearing 91 can be restricted. When the flange portion 83 is installed by plastically deforming the cylindrical portion 80, a dimension LL from an end of the rotating shaft 51 on the side opposite to the side of the radial bearing 91 to the end 82 of the cylindrical portion 80 on the side of the radial bearing 91 can ba adjusted, and a clearance dimension between the cylindrical portion 80 and the radial bearing 91 can be adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
