1. A communication apparatus comprising:
a storage unit configured to store a plurality of applications including a first application and a second application; a reception unit configured to wirelessly receive identification information for identifying an application via a near field wireless communication in which communication is automatically started in a case where the communication apparatus approaches another apparatus within a predetermined distance; and a start-up unit configured to start up the first application without requiring the communication apparatus to receive a user operation if the identification information received by the reception unit indicates the first application, and to start up the second application without requiring the communication apparatus to receive a user operation if the identification information received by the reception unit indicates the second application, wherein if the start-up unit starts up the first application, the communication apparatus starts communication according to control by the first application, and wherein if the start-up unit starts up the second application, the communication apparatus starts communication according to control by the second application. |
