PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous floor cleaning robot capable of autonomously dealing with a detected situation by detecting the situation in which the robot is placed.SOLUTION: The autonomous floor cleaning robot includes a housing and a chassis, a plurality of wheels configured so as to move the robot on a floor surface and connected to the chassis through respectively corresponding arms and a motor for driving the plurality of wheels, a control part for controlling the movement of the robot on the floor surface, a sensor for detecting an obstacle to transmit obstacle information to the control part, a waste container, and a first rotary member configured so as to direct particles toward the waste container. The plurality of wheels are respectively connected rotatably to the tips of respectively corresponding arms, the proximal end of an arm is connected rotatably to the chassis, the plurality of wheels are respectively energized to an extended position away from the chassis by a spring extending between an arm and the chassis, and the weight of the robot overcomes the force of the spring which respectively energizes the plurality of wheels to the extended positions. |
