<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taping apparatus for winding an insulation tape or the like around a coil with equal tension and winding width, the taping apparatus being configured to wind the insulation tape or the like around the coil provided in a large-sized generator or a motor.SOLUTION: The taping apparatus comprises: a rotary disk 5 which is installed in a taping head 4 and rotates around a coil 1 for performing taping; a distance sensor 2 for measuring a distance dimension between the coil 1 and the taping head 4 and a control device 6 for controlling drive of the taping head 4 and a moving mechanism 7 of the taping head 4. An arithmetic operation part installed in the control device 6 arithmetically operates measurement data of the distance sensor 2, thereby determining a sectional center 50a of the coil 1 and a motion trajectory of a rotation center 50 of the rotary disk 5 connecting a plurality of sectional centers 50a of the coil 1 in the length direction. The control device 6 controls movement of the moving mechanism 7 and the taping head 4 along the motion trajectory of the rotation center 50 of the rotary disk 5 over the length direction of the coil 1 and rotation of the moving mechanism 7 and the taping head 4.</p> |
