PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack connector that enables a reduction in vertical size.SOLUTION: A jack connector comprises: a case part 10 defining an accommodating space 1b in which a plug connector, which is to be inserted from the front side of an insertion opening part 1a toward the rear side thereof, can be accommodated; a conductive terminal 3 that is able to come into contact with the inserted plug connector; and a reinforcement member 40. In a place corresponding to the central part of the accommodating space 1b, a ceiling part 15 has a projecting part 15a formed so as to project upwards. Additionally, around the projecting part 15a, the ceiling part 15 has a step part 15b set smaller in vertical dimension than the projecting part 15a. Furthermore, the reinforcement member 40 has a notch part 40a in a place corresponding to at least the projecting part 15a, and abuts on the step part 15b around the projecting part 15a. |
