PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack connector that enables a size reduction.SOLUTION: An accommodating space 1b is formed, in which a plug connector to be inserted from the front side toward the rear side can be accommodated. Additionally, a plurality of conductive terminals 3 with elastic contact parts 3a, which are able to elastically come into contact with a plug connector, are held by a lower housing 11 so as to allow communication between the inside and outside of a lower housing 11. Furthermore, a cap part 13 is provided, which is integrally extended downwards from the front end part of an upper cover 12 and attached to the front side of the lower housing 11. The first conductive element 31 among the conductive elements 3 is provided with a first elastic contact part 31a, which is able to elastically come into contact with the plug connector, so as to project beyond the front of a front open part 11a. The cap part 13 has an insertion opening part 1a for the plug connector, and also an accommodating part 1c, which enables the insertion of the first elastic contact part 31a in forward and backward directions, is provide so as to be continuous with the insertion opening part 1a. |
