PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece support device including a function for detecting that a workpiece is placed on a workpiece placement surface without inclining in the left/right direction and the front/back direction.SOLUTION: A workpiece support device includes a workpiece placement table 11 having a workpiece placement surface 15 for placing a tabular workpiece W. The workpiece placement surface 15 is formed in an XY plane, and there are included a pair of workpiece detection sensors 21A and 21B for detecting that a workpiece is placed on the workpiece placement surface 15. The pair of workpiece detection sensors 21A and 21B are separated in an X direction and a Y direction in the XY plane. There is included a workpiece edge contact part 17 which a workpiece edge part freely contacts, in one of an X axis direction and a Y axis direction in the workpiece placement surface 15. |
