<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device which can convey recording media having different thicknesses and adjust a pressing force to the recording medium without input of the thicknesses of the recording media. <P>SOLUTION: The conveyance device 8 includes: a freely liftable support member 15 for supporting a pinch roller 17; a movable member 13 freely liftable by a stepping motor 11; a spring 14 interposed between the movable member 13 and the roller support member 15; a touch sensor 16 for detecting that the pinch roller contacts with a recording sheet 10; and a control device 50 for controlling the stepping motor 11 based on a detection result of the touch sensor 16 and the movement of the movable member 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
