PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twisted wire production apparatus which is reduced in an installation area, performs twisting in a short time, is capable of coping with long-sized wires, eliminates the need of setup for length modification, provides high-quality twisted wires, requires no walking of an operator and is good in productivity.SOLUTION: A twisted wire production apparatus includes a take-up drum (20) for winding of a wire, a take-up drum rotation mechanism (22) for rotating the take-up drum, a nozzle (30) for supplying a plurality of wires, a nozzle revolution mechanism (32) which revolves the nozzle around the take-up drum and a traverse mechanism (42) which moves the take-up drum in the axial direction. A plurality of wires are wound on the take-up drum in an aligned form by revolving the nozzle around the take-up drum by the nozzle revolution mechanism and moving the take-up drum relative to the nozzle in the axial direction of the nozzle while rotating the take-up drum by the drum rotation mechanism. |
